A popular electric locomotive of Class 230 with a two-axle bogie. Thanks to the large fibreglass laminate panels that were used for the production of the driver’s cab, it is commonly called “Laminátka” or “Lamino.

The first series production began in the spring of 1966, and since the late 1970s, it has been used exclusively in freight transport. Its timeless and unconventional look is a work of the Czech industrial designer Otakar Diblík.
