In the language of numbers - locomotive 475.1. Universal steam locomotive produced in 1947-1950 by Škoda for the Czechoslovak State Railways. A total of 147 units were built. Another 25 locomotives went as socialist help gesture to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The most modern technologies and design elements used abroad at that time were applied in the production of locomotives. The locomotives were immensely popular among the crews and workshop personnel because of their reliability and ease of operation.
The elegance and beauty of these machines earned them the nickname Šlechtična (Noblewoman). Due to the number of locomotives produced, it has been possible to preserve a larger number of examples to the present day. Who would not know the red star of the Děčín Liza?
